Do I need to be comfortable with technology or coding to participate in a STEMBounce?
No! There are a variety of ways you can participate in STEMBounce, and you can start where you feel comfortable. Be sure to check out the "Challenge Ideas" section to see challenges you can do with Consumables, Reuseables and Technology.
What do I do if I can't answer a question or solve a problem for one of my students during this process?
Remember: The nature of STEMBounce is to challenge students to problem solve, think critically, reflect and push through difficult situations. Your job is to guide, advise, redirect and supervise.
Where do I get resources for the challenges?
Resources can be simple consumables, reuseables or technology based. Check out our resource list for ideas.
How do I make connections?
Connections can be within your own school or school board facilitated through familiar connections OR you can use the Twitter hashtag #STEMBounce to connect with other educators online. Another option is to sign up using our Google Form and use our participants list to connect. Finally, a STEMBounce Facebook Group has been set up to assist participants with making connections. This group is a closed group.
